SGC Overview

Exciting Update!

Dear Principal Hanson and Ms. Gorgoll,

I hope this message finds you well. I am pleased to share some exciting news on behalf of Fulton County Schools.

Your school’s program has been approved by the Superintendent and Board of Education as of January 23, 2025. Congratulations on this achievement! We are excited to see the positive impact this will bring to your school community beginning in Fall 2025.

Attached, you will find the official approval letter outlining the details of your approved program(s) or VAF(s), including any important requirements and next steps.

Please ensure that the approval letter and related proposal details are posted on your School Governance Council’s webpage for transparency and access by all stakeholders, including families and the general public.

Should you have any questions or need additional support during the implementation process, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Governance & Flexibility team. We are here to assist you in ensuring the success of your initiative.

Once again, congratulations to you and your school community on this accomplishment. We look forward to seeing the continued success and impact of your efforts.

Regards,

Frederick Benschine
